U.S. Customs and Border Protection has issued a CSMS message stating that it is aware that certain forms created by CBP in the Automated Commercial Environment for Automated Commercial System entry summaries are not being posted to the "Task List" in the importer's ACE account portal.

CBP has issued a CSMS message stating that it has fixed the previously reported problem with the ABI application that is used to file the stand-alone FDA Prior Notice information (the WP application). CBP has posted an updated version of its Open ACE Programming Issues report. The report includes the issue number, date opened, description, status, scheduled delivery date, and comments. CBP has issued the March 2010 ACE Trade Account Owner Update. The update covers topics such as access to the ACE portal, information on ACE, information on using single transaction bonds with ACE type 01 and 03 entries, and using wildcards in ACE reports. U.S. Customs and Border Protection has issued a CSMS message announcing an updated version of "ACE Reports for the Trade Community" Web-based Training (WBT) is now available.

U.S. Customs and Border Protection has previously announced that effective April 1, 2010, it will begin requiring the use of the new (June 2009) version of the CBP Form 7501 (entry summary).

The Department of Homeland Security's Office of Inspector General has issued a report containing an independent audit conducted by KPMG LLP that addresses the strengths and weaknesses of U.S. Customs and Border Protection's fiscal year 2009 internal controls over financial reporting.

U.S. Customs and Border Protection has issued a CSMS message announcing that it hopes to re-deploy ABI air in-bond functionality (ABI Application identifiers QX/QT and WX/WT) in late Spring 2010.

CBP has issued a CSMS message stating that currently, the ABI application that is used to file the stand-alone FDA Prior Notice information (the WP application) is encountering a problem with the entry-type Affirmation of Compliance Code - ETP. The system is sometimes, but not always, rejecting for a missing ETP - even if it was transmitted.
