CBP has issued a CSMS message stating that it has fixed the previously reported problem with the ABI application that is used to file the stand-alone FDA Prior Notice information (the WP application). 2. CBP Posts ACE Resource Contact Guide
CBP has posted an ACE Resource Contact Guide to its website. The guide provides a list of appropriate email addresses or phone numbers for contacting CBP with general or technical questions related to ACE. CBP issued a CSMS message announcing the availability of this guide. 3. CBP Opens Intelligence and Operations Coordination Center
CBP opened a new facility to help enhance information sharing across the nearly 60,000-person organization. The new Intelligence and Operations Coordination Center will serve as the "one-stop-shop" for operations coordination and information sharing across the operational entities within the agency, including Field Operations, Border Patrol and Air and Marine. 4. CBP Reminder on ACE Reports
CBP has issued a CSMS message to remind all users that when running Aggregate and Detail Entry Summary Account Management reports, if the trade changes the default "Include Entries with no Entry Date" from "No" to "Yes," data from test district port code 8888 may be included in the report. 5. New York Regulatory Audit Field Office Information
CBP has posted information on the New York Regulatory Audit Field Office, which is located in New York City and has a sub office at John F. Kennedy Airport in Queens. It is known for its expertise in performing post entry audits of high risk importers particularly in the area of textiles and wearing apparel. 6. CBP Updates its TRQ/TPL "Threshold to Fill" List
CBP has posted an updated version of its TRQ/TPL "threshold to fill" list, a quick reference to monitor TRQs and TPLs that are approaching the restraint limit or have filled the in-quota (low) rate. The list is divided into two sections - those that are at least 85% filled and those that are closed. 7. CBP Update on Southwest Border Fence Construction Progress
CBP has posted an update on the progress of the southwest border fence construction. According to CBP, as of March 19, 2010, CBP has completed roughly 645.8 miles of fencing (347.3 miles of primary pedestrian fence and 298.5 miles of vehicle fence) along the Southwest Border. 9. CBP Messages on AD and CV Duty Actions
The antidumping and countervailing messages CBP issues on behalf of the International Trade Administration are now only available on CBP's Web site at http://addcvd.cbp.gov. AD and CV ABI administrative messages are no longer issued.
