CBP has issued a CSMS message announcing that the Food and Drug Administration has added the following two new product codes at the request their Center for Biologics Evaluation and Research (CBER):
- Whipworms
- Hookworms
CBP notes that these two new codes have required FDA to add a new product code class of "W" for Industry 57. The new class of products is for Immunomodulators. This class contains two specific products; 01 Whipworms, and 02 Hookworms.
