CBP has issued a CSMS message stating that currently, the ABI application that is used to file the stand-alone FDA Prior Notice information (the WP application) is encountering a problem with the entry-type Affirmation of Compliance Code - ETP. The system is sometimes, but not always, rejecting for a missing ETP - even if it was transmitted. 2. CBP Reminder That RLF and ESAR III Problems Have Been Resolved
CBP has issued a CSMS message to clarify its earlier message stating that problems encountered with Remote Location Filing (RLF) during the deployment of ESAR III capabilities have been resolved. CBP also wants to remind filers that only Entry Summary Types 01 and 11 are eligible to be filed using RLF. 3. CBP Announces Delay in Final Tuna/Skipjack TRQ Information
CBP has issued a memorandum announcing that it has been informed that the final TRQ limit for tuna and skipjack will be delayed approximately two to three weeks in order to complete data compilation by the National Marine Fisheries Service. Upon receipt, CBP will issue proration and liquidation instructions; however, this delay may have an impact on final warehouse withdrawals for consumption submitted for opening moment. 4. Census Import Parameter Change Request Form Now Available Online
CBP has issued a CSMS message announcing the automation of Census' import (i.e., Automated Broker Interface/Automated Commercial Environment) parameter change request form. Once the form is submitted, Census will research the request and respond directly to the submitting party. (Although the CSMS message states that all requests for import parameter changes must be sent to the Census Web site, a Census source stated by telephone that use of the online form is strongly encouraged, but is not mandatory.) 5. CBP Update ABI Software Vendors List
CBP's Office of Information and Technology has posted an updated list of companies/persons offering ABI data processing services to the trade community. The antidumping and countervailing messages CBP issues on behalf of the International Trade Administration are now only available on CBP's Web site at http://addcvd.cbp.gov . AD and CV ABI administrative messages are no longer issued.
