U.S. Customs and Border Protection has published revised 'terms and conditions' that must be followed as a condition for access to the Automated Commercial Environment Secure Data Portal (ACE Portal) effective immediately.

The Food and Drug Administration has issued an ABI administrative message stating that it has created a new product code for mung bean protein: 02G[ ][ ]12. When using this new product code, the fourth and fifth characters in the code should be filled with the appropriate subclass and process indicator codes. U.S. Customs and Border Protection has issued an ABI administrative message announcing that it published in the May 8, 2007 Federal Register a notice announcing that e-Manifest: Truck for advance cargo information purposes would be mandated for all land border ports in Idaho and Montana. In March 2007, U.S. Customs and Border Protection issued an ABI administrative message announcing that in the future, CBP will be expanding the Automated Commercial Environment in-bond capabilities for e-Manifest: Truck participants that use the Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) option.

U.S. Customs and Border Protection has issued an ABI administrative message which states that for some time it has been encouraging participants in Automated Commercial Environment e-Manifest: Truck to use legitimate CBP Form 7512 numbers with check digits or paperless in-bond numbers ('V' numbers with check digits) instead of shipment control numbers (bill of lading numbers) for in-bond movements, in order to avoid certain internal processing problems.

U.S. Customs and Border Protection has issued an ABI administrative message announcing that ACE Entry Summary, Accounts, and Revenue A1 is scheduled to be deployed (go into production) on August 11, 2007.

U.S. Customs and Border Protection has posted to its Web site a notice which announces the phased enforcement of mandatory ACE electronic manifest: Truck for advance cargo information purposes at all land border ports in New Hampshire and Vermont as well as the remaining land border ports in North Dakota - St. John, Fortuna, Ambrose, Carbury, Noonan, Dunseith, Sherwood, Antler, Northgate, Westhope, and Portal, beginning July 12, 2007.
