CBP Updates Its List of ACE & Other System Changes and/or Fixes Scheduled for Deployment

U.S. Customs and Border Protection has posted an updated version of its "ACE Workplan Schedule," which provides a list of the changes and/or fixes to the Automated Commercial Environment and other systems it interfaces with that were scheduled for deployment on December 15, 2007 and January 26, 2008. CBP has previously stated that this list contains only those changes and/or fixes that impact the trade community.

This list of changes contains either the problem tracking report (PTR) code or the change request (CR) code, as well an explanation of the change:

Corrects instances of EDIFACT manifests filed using a service provider, if the preparer is different than the transmitter, the preparer SCAC is picked up and mapped to the sender SCAC.
