The International Trade Administration is amending its final results of antidumping duty administrative review of certain pasta from Italy (A-475-818) for the period of July 1, 2008 through June 30, 2009.
The International Trade Administration frequently issues notices on antidumping and countervailing duty orders, investigations, etc. which Broker Power considers to be "minor” in importance as they concern actions that occur after an order is issued, neither announce nor cause any changes to an order’s duty rates, scope, affected firms, or effective period, etc.
The International Trade Commission is terminating the Section 337 patent-based investigation of certain liquid crystal display televisions, LCD computer monitors and notebook computers with LCD displays, digital cameras with LCD displays, and video gaming consoles (Inv. No. 337-TA-737) on the basis of a settlement agreement. The investigation was based on a complaint filed by Chimei-Innolux Corporation of Taiwan, Chi Mei Optoelectronics USA, Inc., of San Jose, CA, and Innolux Corporation of Austin, TX against four Sony companies. On February 1, 2011, Senator Portman (R), along with Senate colleagues, sent a letter to Secretary of Commerce Locke urging the Commerce Department to enforce existing trade law on the books in order to protect the domestic candle industry from unfair competition.

The International Trade Administration has issued a notice announcing the opportunity for interested parties to request administrative reviews by February 28, 2011 for the following antidumping and countervailing duty orders, for the identified review periods.
The International Trade Administration has published in the Federal Register a notice that it is extending the comment period on its proposed modification and consequential proposed rule to normally use a non-zeroing methodology in its calculation of the weighted average dumping margins and antidumping duty assessment rates in AD duty administrative, new shipper, and expedited reviews, in order to conform its practice to several World Trade Organization dispute settlement reports.
