The International Trade Commission is considering whether to grant Georgia-Pacific Consumer Products LP's request to issue a general order excluding electronic paper towel dispensing devices and components (337-TA-718) from entry into the U.S. and/or issue one or more cease and desist orders, to stop unfair acts in the importation and sale of such articles.
The International Trade Administration has issued an amended antidumping duty final determination and order pursuant to a court decision1 for wooden bedroom furniture from China (A-570-890). The ITA is revising the cash deposit rate for Dorbest Limited2 to 2.40% as well as the cash deposit rates for 59 separate rate companies3 to 6.68%. These amended rates, which sources confirm take effect August 13, 2011, are expected to be implemented by CBP soon.

The International Trade Administration has issued notice of its final rescission of the antidumping new shipper reviews of fresh garlic from China (A-570-831) for Jining Yifa Garlic Produce Co., Ltd., Shenzhen Bainong Co., Ltd., and Yantai Jinyan Trading Inc. As a result, their temporary AD duty bonding option is being discontinued, and an AD cash deposit will once again be required effective August 22, 2011. CBP is expected to implement this change for these 3 companies soon.
