The Commerce Department issued the final results of the antidumping duty administrative review on polyethylene retail carrier bags from Malaysia (A-557-813). Commerce calculated a 6.47% AD rate for Euro SME Sdn. Bhd. and its affiliate Euro Nature Green Sdn. Bhd., the only exporters under review. Subject merchandise from Euro SME entered Aug. 1, 2019, through July 31, 2020, will be assessed AD duties at importer-specific rates. The new 6.47% AD duty cash deposit rate takes effect March 8, when these final results are set to be published in the Federal Register.
The Commerce Department is amending its preliminary determination in its antidumping duty investigation on urea ammonium nitrate solutions from Trinidad and Tobago (A-274-808). A correction to a calculation error causes rates to nearly double, from 63.08% to 111.64%, for all Trinidadian exporters. The Commerce Department on March 4 issued the final results of the antidumping duty administrative review on steel propane cylinders from Thailand (A-549-839). Commerce set an AD rate of 13.89% for Sahamitr Pressure Container Plc., the only company under review, a slight reduction in the preliminary rate of 14.11% it calculated. Subject merchandise from Sahamitr entered Dec. 27, 2018, through July 31, 2020, will be liquidated at importer-specific rates, Commerce said. The 13.89% AD duty cash deposit rate for Sahamitr takes effect March 7.

The Commerce Department is setting new countervailing duty cash deposit requirements for imports of freight rail coupler systems from China (C-570-144), after finding illegal subsidization of Chinese producers in the preliminary determination of its CV duty investigation. Suspension of liquidation and cash deposit requirements will take effect for entries on or after March 7, the date that the preliminary determination is scheduled to be published in the Federal Register.
