The Commerce Department issued the preliminary results of its countervailing duty administrative review on certain carbon and alloy steel cut-to-length plate from South Korea (C-580-888). The agency preliminarily assigned a zero percent CV duty rate to POSCO and its affiliated companies, the sole mandatory respondent in the review. If the agency's findings are continued in the final results of these reviews, importers of subject merchandise from Hyundai Steel entered Jan. 1, 2020, through Dec. 31, 2020, will not be assessed CV duties. Any changes to cash deposit rates for POSCO would take effect on the date of publication in the Federal Register of the final results of this review.
The Commerce Department announced the opportunity to request administrative reviews by June 30 for producers and exporters subject to 33 antidumping duty orders and eight countervailing duty orders with June anniversary dates.
The Commerce Department is amending the recently issued final results of the antidumping duty administrative review on certain steel racks and parts thereof from China (A-570-088) to correct "ministerial errors" it said it made in calculating the rate for certain companies. These amended final results will be used to set final assessments of AD duties on importers for subject merchandise entered March 4, 2019, through Aug. 31, 2020. The new cash deposit rates are applicable as of June 3.
The Commerce Department is amending countervailing duty cash deposit rates for some exporters subject to CV duties on crystalline silicon solar cells from China (C-570-980), it said in a notice implementing a recent Court of International Trade decision that invalidated rates the agency set in the final results of an administrative review it issued in 2019 (see 1908270017 and 1912120048). Commerce is lowering cash deposit rates for four companies that have not received new CV duty cash deposit rates in subsequent reviews as a result of the decision, according to the notice released June 2. Changes are applicable to entries on or after May 29, 2022, as follows:
The Commerce Department is amending antidumping duty cash deposit rates for some exporters subject to AD duties on passenger vehicle and light truck tires from China (C-570-016), it said in a notice implementing a recent Court of International Trade decision that invalidated rates the agency set in the final results of an administrative review it issued in 2018 (see 1803150018). Commerce is lowering cash deposit rates for 42 companies as a result of the decision, according to the notice released June 2. Changes are applicable to entries on or after May 29, as follows:

The Commerce Department released the preliminary results of its antidumping duty administrative review on carbon and alloy steel wire rod from South Korea (A-580-891), calculating a zero percent AD rate for POSCO and its affiliated company POSCO International Corporation. If the agency's finding is continued in the final results, importers of subject merchandise from POSCO entered between May 1, 2020, and April 30, 2021, will not be assessed AD duties, and future entries from POSCO would not be subject to an AD cash deposit requirement until further notice.
