The Commerce Department has issued the preliminary results of its antidumping duty administrative review on low-melt polyester staple fiber from South Korea (A-580-895). The agency set an AD rate of 1.89% for Toray Advanced Materials Korea, Inc. Any changes to Toray's cash deposit rate would take effect on the publication date of the final results of this review, currently due in October. If Commerce finalizes these preliminary results, the agency will assess AD at importer-specific rates for entries from Toray entered Aug. 1, 2021, through July 31, 2022.
The Commerce Department has released the preliminary results of a countervailing duty administrative review of glycine from India (C-533-884). Rates set in this review would be used to set assessments on importers from the exporters under review for subject merchandise entered during calendar year 2021.
The Commerce Department has recognized a Chinese company's name change for the purposes of antidumping duties on multilayered hardwood flooring from China (A-570-970). The agency upheld its preliminary finding (see 2212270049) that Arte Mundi Group Co., Ltd. is the successor-in-interest to Arte Mundi (Shanghai) Aesthetic Home Furnishings Co., Ltd., in the final results of a changed circumstances review set to be published June 30. The agency found Arte Mundi Group operates as the same business entity other than the change in name. Commerce determined that Arte Mundi Group will be assigned the AD rate previously assigned to Arte Mundi (Shanghai), currently zero percent. The new cash deposit rate will be effective June 30 and remain in effect until further notice.
The Commerce Department has released the final results of the antidumping duty administrative review on welded line pipe from South Korea (A-580-876). These final results will be used to set final assessments of antidumping duties on importers for subject merchandise from 31 companies under review entered Dec. 1, 2020, through Nov. 30, 2021.
