The International Trade Commission voted on September 13, 2011 to institute a section 337 patent-based investigation of certain digital televisions containing integrated circuit devices and components thereof (337-TA-806). The investigation is based on a complaint filed by Renesas Electronics Corporation of Japan and 511 Technologies, Inc. of TX. The complaints allege violations of section 337 of the Tariff Act of 1930 in the importation into the U.S. and sale of these products and requests that the ITC issue an exclusion order. The ITC has identified Vizio, Inc. of CA as the respondent in this investigation.
The International Trade Administration is revoking the antidumping duty orders on ball bearings and parts thereof from France, Germany, and Italy (A-427-801, A-428-801, A-475-801). The ITA will notify U.S. Customs and Border Protection to discontinue AD suspension of liquidation and the collection of AD cash deposits, effective for subject merchandise with a time of entry on or after September 15, 2011. Entries of subject merchandise prior to September, 15, 2011, will continue to be subject to the suspension of liquidation and AD cash deposit requirements.

The panel affirmed the ITC's remand determination.
The International Trade Administration has issued the final results of the administrative review of the antidumping duty order on certain frozen warmwater shrimp from Vietnam (A-552-802), which sets the AD duty cash deposit rates for 30 companies (and their affiliates) and the Vietnam-wide entity.
