These final results will be used to set final assessments of AD duties on importers for entries from Nov. 1, 2013, through Oct. 31, 2014, exported by the approximately 50 companies under review.
The Commerce Department issued the final results of the antidumping duty administrative review on furfuryl alcohol from China (A-570-835) (here). Commerce found Qingdao WenKem Co., Ltd. did not demonstrate independence from state control, assigning the company the China-wide AD duty rate of 45.27%. Commerce will assess AD duties at this rate on subject merchandise from Qingdao WenKem entered between June 1, 2014, and May 31, 2015. A 45.27% AD duty cash deposit rate for Qingdao WenKem takes effect June 8.
The Commerce Department issued the final results of its countervailing duty administrative review on multilayered wood flooring from China (C-570-971) (here). The agency calculated new CV duty cash deposit rates for 108 Chinese producers and exporters. These final results will be used to set final assessments of CV duties on importers for entries between Jan. 1 and Dec. 31, 2013.
The Commerce Department announced its final affirmative antidumping duty determinations in investigations on cold-rolled steel flat products from China and Japan, as well as a final affirmative countervailing duty determination for China, in an May 17 fact sheet (here).

Commerce continued to find Tianjin Magnesium International, Co., Ltd. (TMI) and Tianjin Magnesium Metal Co., Ltd. (YMM) had no shipments of subject merchandise to the U.S. during the period of review. As such, AD duty cash deposit rates for TMI and TMM will not change as a result of this review.

The Commerce Department issued the final results of the antidumping duty administrative review on wooden bedroom furniture from China (A-570-890) (here). Commerce found Shanghai Jian Pu Import & Export Co., Ltd. and six other producer-exporters did not demonstrate independence from state control, assigning them the China-wide AD duty rate of 216.01%. Commerce will assess AD duties at this rate on subject merchandise from these companies entered between Jan. 1, 2014 and Dec. 31, 2014. A 216.01% AD duty cash deposit rate for these companies takes effect April 11.
The Commerce Department amended its final results of its countervailing duty administrative review on aluminum extrusions from China (C-570-968) (here), lowering cash deposit rates by as much as 50 percent in order to correct calculation errors in notice of final results it issued in December (see 1512110015). These amended final results will now be used to set final assessments of CV duties on importers for entries between Jan. 1 and Dec. 31, 2013.
