The Commerce Department issued the final results of the antidumping duty administrative review on steel wire garment hangers from China (A-570-918). Commerce assigned the only exporters remaining under review, Shanghai Wells Hanger Co., Ltd., and its affiliate Hong Kong Wells Ltd., to the China-wide entity, with a rate of 187.25%. Commerce will assess AD duties at that 187.25% rate on subject merchandise from Shanghai Wells and Hong Kong Wells entered Oct. 1, 2017, through Sept. 30, 2018. A 187.25% AD duty cash deposit rate for Shanghai Wells and Hong Kong Wells takes effect March 11.
The Commerce Department issued the final results of the antidumping duty administrative review on drawn stainless steel sinks from China (A-570-983). These final results will be used to set final assessments of AD duties on importers for subject merchandise entered April 1, 2018, through March 31, 2019.
The Commerce Department issued the final results of its countervailing duty administrative review on multilayered wood flooring from China (C-570-052). The agency calculated new CV duty cash deposit rates for two Chinese producers and exporters. These final results will be used to set final assessments of CV duties on importers for entries between April 25, 2017, and Dec. 31, 2018.
The Commerce Department issued the final results of the countervailing duty administrative review on narrow woven ribbons with woven selvedge (C-570-953) from China. Commerce assigned the only company under review, Yama Ribbons and Bows Co., Ltd., a CV rate of 31.87%. Subject merchandise from Yama entered in calendar year 2017 will be liquidated at a rate of 31.87%. A CV duty cash deposit rate of 31.87% for entries from Yama takes effect Feb. 25.
The Commerce Department issued the final results of the antidumping duty administrative review on chlorinated isocyanurates from China (A-570-898). These final results will be used to set final assessments of AD duties on two importers for subject merchandise entered June 1, 2017, through May 31, 2018.
The Commerce Department issued the final results of the antidumping duty administrative review on magnesia carbon bricks from China (A-570-954). Commerce found six companies -- Liaoning Zhongmei High Temperature Material Co., Ltd., Liaoning Zhongmei Holding Co., Ltd., RHI Refractories Liaoning Co., Ltd., Shenglong Refractories Co., Ltd., Yingkou Heping Samwha Minerals, Co., Ltd., and Yingkou Heping Sanhua Materials Co., Ltd -- did not demonstrate independence from state control, assigning them the China-wide AD duty rate of 236%. Commerce will assess AD duties at this rate on subject merchandise from these six companies entered Sept. 1, 2017, through Aug. 31, 2018. A 236% AD duty cash deposit rate takes effect for each of these six companies on Feb. 20.
The Commerce Department issued the final results of the antidumping duty administrative review on monosodium glutamate from China (A-570-992). Commerce found all 28 companies under review did not demonstrate independence from state control, assigning them the China-wide AD duty rate of 40.41%. Commerce will assess AD duties at this rate on subject merchandise from these 28 companies between Nov. 1, 2017, and Oct. 31, 2018. A 40.41% AD duty cash deposit rate for these 28 companies takes effect for each company on Feb. 20.
The Commerce Department issued the final results of the antidumping duty administrative review on tapered roller bearings and parts thereof from China (A-570-601). Commerce found Taizhou Zson Bearing Technology Co., Ltd. did not demonstrate independence from state control, assigning it the China-wide AD duty rate of 92.84%. Commerce will assess AD duties at this rate on subject merchandise from Zson entered June 1, 2017, through May 31, 2018. A 92.84% AD duty cash deposit rate takes effect for each of these three companies on Feb. 19.
The Commerce Department issued the final results of the antidumping duty administrative review on wooden bedroom furniture from China (A-570-890). Commerce continued to find the only four companies remaining under review -- Eurosa (Kunshan) Co., Ltd. and its affiliate Eurosa Furniture Co., (PTE) Ltd.; Shenyang Shining Dongxing Furniture Co., Ltd.; Sunforce Furniture (Hui-Yang) Co., Ltd. and its affiliates Sun Fung Wooden Factory, Sun Fung Co., Shin Feng Furniture Co., Ltd. and Stupendous International Co., Ltd.; and Yeh Brothers World Trade Inc. -- had no exports of subject merchandise to the U.S. during the period under review. As a result, subject merchandise from these four companies will continue to enter at the AD rate set in the most recent previous review, and any entries filed with their case numbers entered Jan. 1, 2018, through Dec. 31, 2018, will be liquidated at the China-wide rate.
The Commerce Department issued the final results of the countervailing duty administrative review on tool chests and cabinets from China (C-570-057). Commerce assigned the only company under review, Zhongshan Geelong Manufacturing Co. Ltd., a CV rate of 1.15%. Subject merchandise from Geelong entered in calendar year 2018 will be liquidated at that 1.15% rate. Subject merchandise from Geelong entered Sept. 15, 2017, through Dec. 31, 2017, will be liquidated at a rate of 1.27%. A CV duty cash deposit rate of 1.15% for entries from Geelong takes effect Feb. 11.
