The agency calculated new CV duty cash deposit rates for the Chinese producers and exporters listed below. These final results will be used to set final assessments of CV duties on importers for entries Jan. 1, 2018, through Dec. 31, 2018.
The Commerce Department issued the final results of the antidumping duty administrative review on magnesia carbon bricks from China (A-570-954). Commerce found 16 companies did not demonstrate independence from state control, assigning them the China-wide AD duty rate of 236%. Commerce will assess AD duties at this rate on subject merchandise from these 16 companies entered Sept. 1, 2018, through Aug. 31, 2019. A 236% AD duty cash deposit rate takes effect for each of these 16 companies on Jan. 21, the date these final results are set for publication in the Federal Register.
The Commerce Department issued the final results of the antidumping duty administrative review on frozen warmwater shrimp from China (A-570-893). These final results will be used to set final assessments of AD duties on importers for subject merchandise entered Feb. 1, 2018, through Jan. 31, 2019.
The Commerce Department made an affirmative antidumping preliminary determination that imports of twist ties from China (A-570-131) are being sold in the U.S. at less than fair value. The Commerce Department issued a notice correcting the final results of its recently completed antidumping duty administrative review on crystalline silicon photovoltaic cells from China (A-570-979). These corrected final results will be applicable for AD duty cash deposit purposes as of Dec. 9, the date the correction is set for publication in the Federal Register, and will be used to set final assessments of AD duties on importers for subject merchandise entered Dec. 1, 2017, through Nov. 30, 2018. Commerce found all 20 companies under review did not demonstrate independence from state control, assigning them the China-wide AD duty rate of 91.73%. Commerce will assess AD duties at this rate on subject merchandise from these 20 companies between Aug. 1, 2018, and July 31, 2019. A 91.73% AD duty cash deposit rate for these 20 companies takes effect for each company on Dec. 7, the date that these final results are scheduled for publication in the Federal Register.
