The Commerce Department issued the final results of the antidumping duty administrative review on steel wire garment hangers from China (A-570-918) (here). These final results will be used to set final assessments of AD duties on importers for entries from Oct. 1, 2013 through Sept. 30, 2014.
The Commerce Department issued the final results of its countervailing duty administrative review on drawn stainless steel sinks from China (C-570-984) (here). For entries on or after Nov. 10, Commerce is setting a CV duty cash deposit rate of 9.83% for Guangdong Dongyuan Kitchenware Industrial Co., Ltd.. All other exporters of subject merchandise will continue to get the cash deposit rate set for them in the original investigation, and companies that have never been assigned an CV duty rate will get the all others rate. For importer assessment purposes, Dongyuan's rate will be 9.83% for subject merchandise entered April 10, 2013 through Dec. 31, 2013, and 3.91% for subject merchandise entered Aug. 6, 2012 through Dec. 3, 2012. Subject Merchandise entered Dec. 4, 2012 through April 9, 2013 is not liable for CV duties.

The Commerce Department issued the final results of the antidumping duty administrative review on narrow woven ribbons with woven selvedge from China (A-570-952) (here). Commerce again found the only company under review, Yama Ribbons Co., Ltd., had no shipments of subject merchandise to the U.S. during the period of review. As such, Yama's AD cash deposit rate will not change. Any suspended entries that entered under Yama's antidumping duty case numbers will be assessed AD duties at the China-wide rate.
The Commerce Department issued the final results of its antidumping duty administrative review on glycine from China (A-570-836) (here). For entries on or after Oct. 15, Commerce is setting a 143.87% AD duty cash deposit rate for Baoding Mantong Fine Chemistry Co., Ltd. The agency also rescinded the review for Evonik, so Evonik will remain part of the China-wide entity.

The Commerce Department issued the final results of the antidumping duty administrative review on uncovered innerspring units from China (A-570-928) (here). Commerce found Creative Furniture & Bedding Manufacturing, a Malaysian company, was uncooperative, assigning the company an AD duty rate of 234.51%. Commerce will assess AD duties on all China-origin innersprings from Creative Furniture entered between Feb. 1, 2013 and Jan. 31, 2014. The new AD duty cash deposit rate takes effect Sept. 2.
The Commerce Department issued its final affirmative countervailing duty determination on boltless steel shelving units prepackaged for sale from China (C-570-019) (here). Suspension of liquidation is currently not in effect for entries on or after May 30, and Commerce will only require cash deposits of estimated CV duties on future entries if it issues a CV duty order.
The Commerce Department issued the final results of the antidumping duty administrative review on potassium permanaganate from China (A-570-001) (here). Commerce again found the only respondent, Pacific Accelerator Limited, had no shipments of subject merchandise to the U.S. during the period of review. As such, this company's AD cash deposit rate will not change. Any suspended entries that entered under PAL’s antidumping duty case numbers will be assessed AD duties at the China-wide rate.
