The Commerce Department issued the final results of the antidumping duty administrative review on pure magnesium from China (A-570-832) (here). Commerce found both companies under review -- Tianjin Magnesium International, Co., Ltd. (TMI) and Tianjin Magnesium Metal Co., Ltd. (TMM) -- had no shipments of subject merchandise to the U.S. during the period of review. As such, AD cash deposit rates for these two companies will remain at the rates set for each company in the most recently completed proceeding (i.e., the original final determination or a prior administrative review).
The Commerce Department issued the final results of the antidumping duty administrative review on cased pencils from China (A-570-827) (here). Commerce found the only exporter under review -- Shandong Rongxin Import & Export Co., Ltd. -- did not demonstrate independence from state control, assigning it the China-wide AD duty rate of 114.9%. Commerce will assess AD duties at this rate on subject merchandise exported by Shandong Rongxin and entered between Dec. 1, 2014, and Nov. 30, 2015. A 114.9% AD duty cash deposit rate takes effect May 30 for subject merchandise exported by Shandong Rongxin.
The Commerce Department issued the final results of the antidumping duty administrative review on polyester staple fiber from China (A-570-905) (here). Commerce found the only exporter under review -- Hangzhou Huachuang Co., Ltd. -- did not demonstrate independence from state control, assigning it the China-wide AD duty rate of 44.3%. Commerce will assess AD duties at this rate on subject merchandise exported by Hangzhou Huachuang and entered between June 1, 2015, and May 31, 2016. A 44.3% AD duty cash deposit rate takes effect May 22 for subject merchandise exported by Hangzhou Huachuang.
The Commerce Department issued the final results of its countervailing duty administrative review on multilayered wood flooring from China (C-570-971) (here). The agency calculated new CV duty cash deposit rates for 106 Chinese producers and exporters. These final results will be used to set final assessments of CV duties on importers for entries between Jan. 1 and Dec. 31, 2014.

These final results will be used to set final assessments of AD duties on importers for subject merchandise entered Sept. 1, 2014, through Aug. 31, 2015.

The agency calculated new CV duty cash deposit rates for 46 Chinese producers and exporters. These final results will be used to set final assessments of CV duties on importers for entries between Jan. 1 and Dec. 31, 2014.
The Commerce Department issued the final results of the antidumping duty administrative review on steel wire garment hangers from China (A-570-918) (here). Commerce calculated an AD rate of 23.09% for Shanghai Wells Hanger Co., Ltd., and its affiliate Hong Kong Wells Ltd. Commerce will assess AD duties at importer-specific rates on subject merchandise from Shanghai Wells and Hong Kong Wells entered Oct. 1, 2014, through Sept. 30, 2015. A 23.09% AD duty cash deposit rate for Shanghai Wells and Hong Kong Wells takes effect April 17.
The Commerce Department issued the final results of the antidumping duty administrative review and new shipper review on freshwater crawfish tail meat from China (A-570-848) (here). Commerce determined all three companies in the administrative review -- China Kingdom (Beijing) Import & Export Co., Ltd.; Xuzhou Jinjiang Foodstuffs Co., Ltd.; and Hubei Nature Agriculture Industry Co., Ltd. -- did not undersell subject merchandise during the period of review, assigning each a zero percent AD duty rate. In the new shipper review, Commerce also calculated a zero percent AD rate for subject merchandise produced and exported by Hubei Qianjiang Aquatic Food and Product Co., Ltd.
The Commerce Department announced its final affirmative antidumping duty determinations in investigations on carbon and alloy steel cut-to-length plate from Austria, Belgium, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, South Korea and Taiwan, as well as a final affirmative CV duty determination for the South Korea, in a March 30 fact sheet (here).
