Clear Terms

Search Primer

Term list: Separate terms with spaces, not commas or semicolons.

Multi-word term: Place inside quotes to ensure an exact match (e.g. "China import").

Acronyms: Use all capital letters to ensure the search is not looking for that letter sequence instead.

Required term: If a term must be included in any resulting articles, prefix it with a plus sign (e.g., +CBP).

Excluded term: If a term should be excluded from any articles being found, prefix it with a minus sign (e.g., -ruling).

Singular form: Always use the singular form when doing multi-word terms (e.g. "russian export control" instead of "russian export controls").

Shortest word form: When you have different word forms in a quoted (multi-word) term, you want to only include the shortest version if it is the last part of the expression (e.g., "entity list" instead of "entity listing" or "entity listed").

Thailand Steel Propane Cylinders: Final Results of AD Admin Review

The Commerce Department has released the final results of the antidumping duty administrative review on steel propane cylinders from Thailand (A-549-839). Commerce set an AD rate of 2.17% for Sahamitr Pressure Container Plc., the only company under review, representing a slight increase from the preliminary rate of 2.12% it calculated. Subject merchandise from Sahamitr entered Aug. 1, 2021, through July 31, 2022, will be liquidated at importer-specific rates, Commerce said. The 2.17% AD duty cash deposit rate for Sahamitr takes effect Feb. 23, when the final results are to be published in the Federal Register.

Paper Plates: New AD/CVD Investigations Deadlines & Scope

The Commerce Department issued a notice in the Federal Register on its recently initiated countervailing duty investigations on paper plates from China and Vietnam (C-570-165, C-552-840), and is set to publish a notice in the coming days on its antidumping duty investigations on paper plates from China, Thailand and Vietnam (A-570-164, A-549-849, A-552-839). The CVD investigations on China and Vietnam and the AD investigation on Thailand cover entries for the calendar year 2023. The AD investigations on China and Vietnam cover entries made July 1, 2023, through Dec. 31, 2023.
