CBP has issued a CSMS message announcing that it has posted the ACE Implementation Guidelines for the future M1 release. U.S. Customs and Border Protection has issued a CSMS message announcing that it has again delayed the deployment ACE ESAR III capabilities (also referred to as ESAR A2.3.1a), which was recently re-scheduled for February 7, 2010.
At the December 2009 Trade Symposium, U.S. Customs and Border Protection officials discussed CBP's post summary corrections process which will enable a filer to make corrections, prior to liquidation, on ACE entry summary data presented to and accepted by CBP.

CBP has issued a memorandum announcing a change in reporting instructions for the following dairy products from Israel that are subject to a TRQ pursuant to a technical correction made to the U.S.-Israel FTA: butter, dried milk, cheese, peanuts, and ice cream, The amended instructions state that entries for the low-rate must be presented with two HTS numbers: the 9908 number in the first tariff field, and the Chapter 1-97 tariff number in the second tariff field. The 9904 agricultural provision is no longer required, and entries may be submitted via ABI. Entries for the high-rate must show the appropriate 9904 provision in the first field and the appropriate Chapter 1-97 high-rate tariff number for the second tariff field.
