In June 2011, CBP, the Trade Leadership Council and the Trade Support Network discussed key "action items" for developing ACE, including the plan for turning off ACS, the upcoming Document Imaging System pilot, the visibility problem with Post Summary Corrections for prior filers, and using ACE for export licensing and reports.

U.S. Customs and Border Protection has issued an information notice on the Importer Security Filing (ISF) Portal that includes information on the recently announced ISF Reports available on the ISF Portal via the ACE Portal. The notice states that this new feature is available for Trade Account Owners with Importer, Broker, Carrier (VOCs, NVOCCs), or Surety views. Importers can download in PDF or Excel, depending on the type of report they received by email, while others are able to download their reports in PDF and Excel formats. The notice also states that Cross Account Access can be provided.

In June 2011, the TSN Trade Leadership Committee voted to approve changes to the TSN’s ACE Priorities document (such as accelerating eBond and ensuring summary edits) and ideas for minimizing programming costs.

On July 19, 2011, U.S. Customs and Border Protection issued a CSMS message stating that it has published a Federal Register notice announcing a new start date of no earlier than August 1, 2011 for the National Customs Automation Program Test (pilot) of Automated Manifest Capabilities for Ocean and Rail Carrier in ACE (eManifest: Ocean/Rail or M1). CBP advises that this date is in reference to the commencement of the pilot and is not related to trade testing, which began in May 2011 and has met CBP’s success criteria. CBP has issued a CSMS message stating that until further notice, the Philadelphia Client Representatives will be without phone service due to office renovations. U.S. Customs and Border Protection has issued a CSMS message and Fact Sheet stating that CBP expects to begin deploying M1's new capabilities to allow rail and sea carriers to transmit electronic manifest data to ACE in late summer 2011. To be able to access the new capabilities, ocean and rail carriers need to apply for their free ACE Portal Account now, and not wait until the last minute.

U.S. Customs and Border Protection has updated its comprehensive ACE Frequently Asked Questions document by adding a section on Post Summary Corrections. In this new section, CBP states, among other things, that only the most recent PSC filer will receive the ABI courtesy notice of liquidation.

U.S. Customs and Border Protection has issued a CSMS notice stating that its Frequently Asked Questions document on ACE has been updated to include an 11th section on Post Summary Corrections that contains 15 short FAQs.
