The Commerce Department issued the final results of the antidumping duty administrative review on steel nails from Taiwan (A-583-854). Commerce found the only company under review, Create Trading Co., Ltd., did not have any shipments to the U.S. during the period of review. AD duty rates for Create Trading will not change as a result of this review. Any entries under the case number for Create Trading from July 1, 2019, through June 30, 2020, will be assessed AD duties at the “all others” rate for steel nails from Taiwan.

The Commerce Department began administrative reviews for certain firms subject to antidumping and countervailing duty orders with July anniversary dates, it said in a notice published Sept. 7. Producers and exporters subject to any of these administrative reviews on China or Vietnam must submit their separate rate certifications or applications on or about Oct. 7 in order to avoid being assigned high China-wide or Vietnam-wide rates.
The Commerce Department announced the opportunity to request administrative reviews by Aug. 2 for producers and exporters subject to 44 antidumping duty orders and 16 countervailing duty orders with July anniversary dates.

The Commerce Department issued the preliminary results of its antidumping duty administrative review on steel nails from Taiwan (A-583-854). The agency said the only company under review, Create Trading Co., Ltd., had no exports of subject merchandise to the U.S. during the period under review. If Commerce's “no shipments” finding for Create Trading is continued in the final results, subject merchandise from the company will continue to enter at AD rates set in the most recent previous review, and any entries filed with Create Trading's case number entered July 1, 2019, through June 30, 2020, will be liquidated at the all-others rate. Commerce will make its final decision when it issues the final results of this review, currently due in October.
