The International Trade Commission is terminating the Section 337 patent-based investigation of certain multimedia display and navigation devices and systems (portable GPS devices), components thereof, and products containing same (337-TA-694), which was based on a complaint filed by Pioneer Corporation of Japan and Pioneer Electronics (USA) Inc. against Garmin International, Inc. of Kansas; Garmin Corporation of Taiwan; and Honeywell International Inc. of New Jersey. The ITC determined to affirm the final initial determination finding no violation of Section 337. The International Trade Commission has announced its preliminarily affirmative injury determinations in the antidumping and countervailing duty investigations of high pressure steel cylinders from China. As a result, the International Trade Administration will continue its investigations, with its preliminary CV duty determination due on or about August 4, 2011, and its preliminary AD duty determination due on or about October 18, 2011.
