The International Trade Commission is asking for comments by approximately March 5, 2012 on a patent complaint filed on behalf of Pragmatus AV, LLC which alleges violations of Section 337 of the Tariff Act of 1930 in the importation into the U.S., the sale for importation, and the sale within the U.S. after importation of certain consumer electronics, including mobile phones and tablets (D/N 2878). ITC is asking for comments on any public interest issues that might affect ITC consideration, including whether the issuance of an exclusion order and/or cease and desist order would impact the public interest.

The International Trade Commission has made a determination in its five year sunset review of the antidumping and countervailing duty orders on fresh and chilled Atlantic salmon from Norway, concluding that revoking this order would not be likely to lead to a continuation or recurrence of material injury within a reasonable foreseeable time. As a result of this ITC negative determination, the International Trade Administration will publish a notice revoking these orders.

The International Trade Commission has voted to institute an investigation of certain toner cartridges and components thereof. The products at issue in this investigation are replaceable toner cartridges for use in laser beam printers and other laser printing machines, and photosensitive drums contained in such cartridges (337-TA-829).

The products at issue in this investigation are dimmable compact fluorescent lamps (CFLs), which are light bulbs that function as direct replacements for dimmable incandescent light bulbs (337-TA-830).
