Clear Terms

Search Primer

Term list: Separate terms with spaces, not commas or semicolons.

Multi-word term: Place inside quotes to ensure an exact match (e.g. "China import").

Acronyms: Use all capital letters to ensure the search is not looking for that letter sequence instead.

Required term: If a term must be included in any resulting articles, prefix it with a plus sign (e.g., +CBP).

Excluded term: If a term should be excluded from any articles being found, prefix it with a minus sign (e.g., -ruling).

Singular form: Always use the singular form when doing multi-word terms (e.g. "russian export control" instead of "russian export controls").

Shortest word form: When you have different word forms in a quoted (multi-word) term, you want to only include the shortest version if it is the last part of the expression (e.g., "entity list" instead of "entity listing" or "entity listed").

Argentina Honey: ITA Finalizes Earlier Revocation Date for AD/CV Duty Orders

The International Trade Administration moved up the effective date for revocation of the antidumping and countervailing duty orders on honey from Argentina (A-357-812 / C-357-813), after receiving no opposition to its preliminary results of a changed circumstances review. In the September results of a sunset review, the ITA revoked the AD/CV duty orders as of Aug. 2, 2012. Through this changed circumstances review, the ITA now says the effective date of revocation is Dec. 1, 2010, for the AD duty order, and Dec. 1, 2011, for the CV duty order.

ITC Asks for Comments on Paper Shredders Patent Complaint

The International Trade Commission is asking for comments by about Jan. 5 on a patent complaint filed by Fellowes Office Products (Suzhou) on certain paper shredders, certain processes for manufacturing or relating to same and certain products containing same and certain parts thereof (D/N 2924). The complaint named the following as respondents:
