CBP to Deploy Duty Calculation Validation Enhancement to ACE Production on Feb. 17
CBP says it has updated the ACE Certification environment to enhance duty calculation validation. Next month, the enhancement will be added to the ACE Production environment, according to a Jan. 16 cargo systems message.

CBP said: "When testing in CERT, software vendors will see the following condition codes when an incorrect duty value is provided on entry summary lines that have up to 32 Harmonized Tariff Schedule (HTS) codes:
- 624 – EST DUTY/CALC’D DUTY MISMATCH - LINE
- 627 – Est Duty/Calc’d Duty Mismatch - Total."
The Production environment deployment of functionality is set for Feb. 17.
