Advanced Wi-Fi Chip Market Poised for Rapid Growth: Report
The Wi-Fi 6E and Wi-Fi 7 chipset market is growing rapidly, with projections showing a rise from $33.65 billion in 2024 to $40.50 billion by 2025 and an expected $149.65 billion by 2032, ResearchAndMarkets.com said last week. That reflects an annual growth rate of 20.50%, “primarily driven by organizations upgrading their wireless networks in response to rising digital application use and increasing data volume,” the report said.

In a separate report released Friday, ResearchAndMarkets.com said the global market for IoT mobile virtual network operators was valued at $2.7 billion in 2024 and is projected to climb to $6.5 billion by 2030. IoT MVNOs “are becoming indispensable players in the global connectivity landscape by providing tailored network services optimized for machine-to-machine” and IoT applications, it said. “Unlike traditional MVNOs that focus on consumer mobile services, IoT MVNOs cater exclusively to the connectivity needs of smart devices -- spanning sectors like industrial automation, logistics, smart cities, healthcare, agriculture, and asset tracking.”
