Aluminum Exporter Drops CIT Case on Amount of Drawback Adjustment in AD Review
Four related exporters, led by Assan Aluminyum Sanayi ve Ticaret, filed a stipulation of dismissal in an antidumping duty case it filed earlier this year at the Court of International Trade (Assan Aluminyum Sanayi ve Ticaret A.S. v. United States, CIT # 25-00137).

In July, Assan filed its complaint, claiming the Commerce Department illegally decided to limit the full duty drawback adjustment to which Assan is entitled by statute in the 2022-23 administrative review of the antidumping duty order on aluminum foil from Turkey (see 2507230061). The case was largely similar to another suit it has before the trade court regarding the amount of the exporter's duty drawback adjustment in the underlying AD investigation.
Counsel for the exporter didn't immediately respond to a request for comment.
