According to the complaint, Whirlpool is seeking a limited exclusion order and cease and desist orders against Samsung and LG Electronics and their subsidiaries, and six U.S.- and Canada-based companies to bar from entry "certain low profile microwave-hood combination products" that violate their patents. Whirlpool said that its products "are designed to fit into the undercabinet hood space above a cooking range, providing a two-in-one kitchen appliance that cooks and provides ventilation."
