The company made submissions to both the Office of Foreign Assets Control and the Bureau of Industry and Security on Sept. 5, it reported in its latest SEC filing, released this month. Nature’s Sunshine previously said it submitted initial voluntary disclosures to OFAC in April and to BIS in November 2024, both involving its "past compliance with relevant U.S. trade controls" (see 2505120011).

The company didn't say whether BIS or OFAC plans to impose a penalty, but it continued to say that the possible violations "represented less than one percent of our net revenue in each of our last three fiscal years."
