CBS News Ombudsman Is Now Taking Coverage Complaints
The CBS News ombudsman has started accepting complaints about the network's coverage, according to the network's website. "Have feedback for the CBS News Ombudsman? Please reach out to ombudsman@cbsnews.com and the ombudsman will review your inquiry as soon as possible," it says.

The ombudsman is Kenneth Weinstein, former head of conservative policy think tank the Hudson Institute, who joined CBS News last month (see 2509090065). Paramount and parent company Skydance agreed to appoint an ombudsman to gain FCC approval for their merger. CBS News staff reportedly received a memo from company leadership about Weinstein that said his appointment "is about transparency, not oversight."
