Poland earlier this month sanctioned other people with ties to Belarus or Russia, including Veranika Pental, a Belarusian citizen who it said has tried to ship goods to Russia to strengthen the "industrial capacity of the Russian Federation." Others sanctioned include Alexandr Mashensky, who Poland said has ties to Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko.
