FMC Rejects Complaint Against Easy Shipping Corp.
A Federal Maritime Commission administrative law judge has denied USL Auto Exporting Inc.’s complaint accusing Easy Shipping Corp. of mishandling a shipment of four vehicles from Savannah to Libya, according to a decision released April 16.

While USL, which filed its complaint in December 2023, had sought at least $52,710 in damages (see 2312290002), the judge concluded that USL was responsible for any damages it incurred because two of the items it tried to ship, a Toyota Tundra pickup truck and a Yamaha jet ski, were prohibited for export to Libya.
