Vehicle Exporter Accuses Transport Company WWL of Nonpayment for Forwarding Services
Wallenius Wilhelmsen Logistics (WWL) of Parsippany, New Jersey, has failed to compensate vehicle exporter D.F. Young Inc. (DFY) of Berwyn, Pennsylvania, for arranging the shipment of Ford and General Motors automobiles on WWL vessels, DFY alleged in a complaint to the Federal Maritime Commission this month.

“To date, complainant has provided freight forwarding services on hundreds of GM and Ford shipments placed on respondent’s vessels, and continues to do so,” the nine-page complaint says. “To date, respondent has provided no compensation to complainant” for those services.
DFY said it is owed $110,925.44 and that the figure will grow as it continues to place vehicles on WWL vessels. It asked that a hearing on the matter be held in Philadelphia.
WWL did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
