Optimum's Nov. 13 complaint (see 2311200076), as subsequently amended (see 2311280065), alleged that three companies in China -- Hangzhou Softel, Hangzhou Daytai Network Technologies and Hangzhou Sumlo Industrial -- are manufacturing fiber optic network equipment that copies its patented technologies that improve cost-efficiency of fiber optic network connectivity. The ITC will also consider whether to issue cease and desist orders against the three Chinese companies.
