UK Extends, Amends Russia Sanctions General Licenses
The U.K. on June 26 extended until March 31 its General License under the Russian sanctions regime permitting the continuation of business operations with Evraz's North American subsidiaries.

In a separate move, the Office of Financial Sanctions Implementation amended the General License allowing certain activities pertaining to the provision of civilian telecommunications and news media services. It clarified that state civilian telecommunication-designated parties include subsidiaries of ZAO TransTeleCom, and designated Rossia Segodnya as a news media service. It also removed MegaFon as a civilian telecommunications designated party and Mobile TeleSystems, Moscow City Telephone Network and MegaFon as designated news media services.
