New Cash Deposit Rates Take Effect April 20
For entries on or after April 20, the scheduled publication date of these final results in the Federal Register, Commerce is setting new AD duty cash deposit rates for subject merchandise produced or exported by two companies, as follows:
| Exporter | AD Rate |
|---|---|
| Hyundai Steel Co. | 0.88% |
| POSCO/POSCO International Corp. | zero |
| Del Trading Inc. | 0.88% |
| Dongkuk Industries Co., Ltd. | 0.88% |
| Dongkuk Steel Mill Co., Ltd. | 0.88% |
| Gs Global Corp. | 0.88% |
| Gs Holdings Corp. | 0.88% |
| KG Dongbu Steel Co., Ltd. | 0.88% |
| Marubeni-Itochu Steel Korea, Ltd. | 0.88% |
| Samsung C and T Corporation | 0.88% |
| Snp Ltd. | 0.88% |
| Soon Ho Co., Ltd. | 0.88% |
| Soon Hong Trading Co. | 0.88% |
| Sungjin Co., Ltd. | 0.88% |
For exporters of subject merchandise that were not under review (i.e., all except the companies listed above), cash deposit rates remain at the level set in the most recent review of each respective company. If the exporter has never been assigned its own AD rate but the manufacturer has, the rate assigned to the manufacturer applies. For merchandise manufactured and exported by companies that have never been assigned a cash deposit rate by Commerce, the “all others” rate, currently 6.05%, applies.
Assessment Rates
Commerce is using the rates it calculated in these final results to calculate assessments of AD on importers of subject merchandise for entries between Oct. 1, 2020, and Sept. 30, 2021. Commerce will assess antidumping duties at importer-specific rates for Hyundai Steel and liquidate exports from POSCO without regard to AD. It will assess AD for the other companies not selected for individual review at the rates listed above.
(The review period is 10/01/20 - 09/30/21. See Commerce's notice for more information, including the scope of the order, detailed cash deposit and assessment instructions, etc. See 2210310047 for a summary of the preliminary results of this administrative review.)
