Gator Bio has infringed on four of Sartorius's patents regarding phase shift interferometry methods in diagnostic tests used in medical, veterinary, agricultural and research applications. Gator imports biolayer interferometers, biosensors and kits that allegedly infringe on the four patents. Sartorius asked the ITC for a limited exclusion order and a cease and desist order.
