Hasbro and Spin Master allege that Gel Blaster, Splat-R-Ball and Prime Time Toys import products that violate two patents on projectile launchers designed to launch ammunition made of a hydrated super absorbent polymer material. The polymer material can absorb an extremely large amount of water and, according to the complaint, ia more suitable ammunition in projectile launching compared with paintballs, plastics and foams. Hasbro and Spin Master asked the commission to implement a limited exclusion order and cease and desist orders.
