that allegedly infringed patents held by Bell Northern Research. In its Sept. 27 complaint, Bell Northern said mobile devices, televisions and personal computers from Lenovo, TCL, BLU, BBK, HMD and Sonim copy Bell Northern’s patented technologies (see 2111010024). Various respondents settled with Bell Northern and were subsequently removed from the investigation. As the final remaining respondent, BLU with its settlement with Bell effectively ended the case in May before the commission's formal termination.
