The complaint alleges that Zebra Technologies and Symbol Technologies have infringed on three patents related to barcode mounting and scanning mechanisms, issued to Hand Held between 2016 and 2022. The complaint comes after the initiation in March of two ITC investigations against Honeywell and Hand Held based on patent infringement complaints by Zebra and Symbol (see 2203140005). On May 23, Honeywell and Hand Held filed a second Section 337 complaint regarding five separate patents (see 2205260026).
