The complaint alleges that Zebra Technologies and Symbol Technologies have infringed on three patents related to barcode mounting and scanning mechanisms, issued to Hand Held between 2016 and 2022, according to a May 6 Federal Register notice. The complaint comes after the initiation of two ITC investigations against Honeywell and Hand Held based on patent infringement complaints by Zebra and Symbol in March (see 2203140005).
