advertisement is false and misleading, and warns broadcasters they must “cease and desist from airing it immediately to comply with FCC licensing requirements.” The FCC “has no authority to revoke broadcast licenses for airing political advertisements critical of the President’s actions,” said Common Cause Media and Democracy Program Director Yosef Getachew. The FCC, White House and NAB didn’t comment.
