China Wood Flooring: Final Results of CV Admin Review

The Commerce Department issued the final results of its countervailing duty administrative review on multilayered wood flooring from China (C-570-971). The agency calculated new CV duty cash deposit rates for 134 Chinese producers and exporters. These final results will be used to set final assessments of CV duties on importers for entries between Jan. 1 and Dec. 31, 2016.

New Cash Deposit Rates Take Effect Aug. 6

New CV duty cash deposit rates for the producers and exporters still subject to his review take effect Aug. 6. Companies that didn't get a rate in this review will continue to get their most recently assigned cash deposit rate, and companies that have never been assigned a CV duty rate will get the all-others rate. The new rates, which will also apply for importer assessment purposes, are as follows:

Average rate companies. The 3.1% average CV rate applies to 132 companies that were under review but not individually reviewed by Commerce. See Commerce's notice for a full list of these 132 companies.

No shipments. Commerce also found that the following companies had no shipments during the period under review: Anhui Boya Bamboo & Wood Products Co., Ltd., Chinafloors Timber (China) Co., Ltd., Hunchun Forest Wolf Wooden Industry Co., Ltd., Jiangsu Keri Wood Co., Ltd., Jiashan On-Line Lumber Co., Ltd., Kingman Floors Co., Ltd., Linyi Bonn Flooring Manufacturing Co., Ltd., and Zhejiang Shiyou Timber Co., Ltd. As a result, these companies' CV duty cash deposit rates will not change, and any entries under their case numbers in 2016 will be liquidated at the "all others" rate.
