China Car and Truck Tires: Amended Final Results of CV Admin Review

The Commerce Department amended the final results of its recently completed countervailing duty administrative review on passenger vehicle and light truck tires from China (C-570-017). The agency lowered CV duty cash deposit rates currently in effect for all Chinese producers and exporters included in the review, in a correction to calculation errors in the original final results. These final results will be used to set final assessments of CV duties on importers for entries Dec. 1, 2014, through Dec. 31, 2015. Amended rates are as follows:

Review average rate. The amended review average rate of 15.53% is applicable 41 companies that qualified for separate rates but were not individually examined. See Commerce's original final results notice for a full list. In these amended final results, Commerce also corrected the name for one of these companies, Shandong Shuangwang Rubber Co., Ltd. The original notice misspelled Shandong as "Shangong," Commerce said.
