New Cash Deposit Rates Take Effect Nov. 7
For entries on or after Nov. 7, Commerce is setting new AD duty cash deposit rates for some companies. Exporters that didn't get a rate in this review will continue to get the cash deposit rate set for the respective company in the most recent previous administrative review, and exporters that have never been assigned an AD rate will continue to be subject to the China-wide rate. The new rates are as follows:
Exporter | AD Rate |
---|---|
RMB Fasteners Ltd. and IFI & Morgan Ltd. (RMB/IFI) | zero |
Tianjin Port Free Trade Zone and Star International Trade Co., Ltd. | 5.4% |
China-wide rate. Commerce found Zhejiang New Oriental Fastener Co., Ltd., Zhejiang Heiter Industries Co., Ltd. and Zhejiang Heiter Mfg. & Trade Co. Ltd. did not demonstrate independence from government control, assigning them the 206% China-wide entity rate.
Assessment Rates for Entries April 2015 - March 2016
Commerce is using the rates it calculated in these final results to calculate assessments of AD duties on importers of subject merchandise for entries between April 1, 2015, and March 31, 2016. Commerce will liquidate the single entry from RMB/IFI that the company had knowledge of without assessing AD duties. Entries from RMB/IFI that were entered without the company's knowledge will be liquidated at the China-wide rate. Subject merchandise from Tianjin Port/Star International will be assessed AD duties at the rate listed above.
(The review period is 04/01/15 -- 03/31/16. See Commerce's notice for more information, including the scope of the order, detailed cash deposit and assessment instructions, etc. See 1705050041 for a summary of the preliminary results of this administrative review.)
