China Potassium Permanganate: Final Results of AD Admin Review

The Commerce Department issued the final results of the antidumping duty administrative review on potassium permanganate from China (A-570-001) (here). Commerce determined the only company under review, Pacific Accelerator Limited (PAL), did not undersell subject merchandise during the period of review, assigning it a zero percent AD duty rate. Subject merchandise from PAL entered Jan. 1, 2015, through Dec. 31, 2015, will be liquidated without any assessment of AD duties, and future entries of subject merchandise from PAL will not be subject to AD duty cash deposit requirements until further notice. Changes to cash deposit rates from these final results take effect June 20.

For exporters of subject merchandise that were not under review (i.e., all except PAL), cash deposit rates remain at the level set in the most recent review of each respective company. If the exporter has never been assigned its own AD rate, the China-wide rate of 128.94% applies.

(The review period is 01/01/15 -- 01/31/15. See Commerce's notice for more information, including the scope of the order, detailed cash deposit and assessment instructions, etc. See 1612130028 for a summary of the preliminary results of this administrative review.)
