China Steel Nails: Final Results of AD Admin Review
The Commerce Department issued the final results of the antidumping duty administrative review on steel nails from China (A-570-909) (here). These final results will be used to set final assessments of AD duties on importers for subject merchandise entered Aug. 1, 2014, through July 31, 2015.

New Cash Deposit Rates Take Effect March 20
For entries on or after March 20, Commerce is setting new AD duty cash deposit rates for some companies. Exporters that didn't get a rate in this review will continue to get the cash deposit rate set for the respective company in the most recent previous administrative review, and exporters that have never been assigned an AD rate will continue to be subject to the China-wide rate. The new rates are as follows:

China-wide. Commerce said the Tianjin Lianda Group Ltd. did not demonstrate independence from state control, and assigned it to the China-wide entity, with a rate of 118.04%.
No shipments. Commerce found several companies did not have any exports to the U.S. during the period of review. The cash deposit rate currently in effect for these six companies will not change, and any entries reported to be from these nine companies will be assessed duties at the 118.04% China-wide rate. These companies are as follows: Besco Machinery Industry (Zhejiang) Co., Ltd. (“Besco”), Jining Huarong Hardware Products Co., Ltd., Nanjing Yuechang Hardware Co., Ltd., PT Enterprise Inc., Shanxi Tuci Broad Wire Products Co., Ltd., and Zhejian Gem-Chun Hardware Accessory Co., Ltd.
Partial rescission. Commerce is also ending the review for several companies for which requests for review were withdrawn, so these companies' rates won't change and any entries under their case numbers during the period of review will be liquidated as entered at the rate in effect at time of entry, as follows: Certified Products International, Chiieh Yung Metal Industrial Corporation, Mingguang Abundant Hardware Products Co., Ltd., and Shandong Oriental Cherry Hardware Group
Assessment Rates for Entries August 2014 - July 2015
Commerce is using the rates it calculated in these final results to calculate assessments of AD duties on importers of subject merchandise for entries between Aug. 1, 2014, and July 31, 2015. Commerce will liquidate entries from Stanley and its affiliates at importer-specific rates. Entries of subject merchandise from all other exporters subject to this review will be assessed AD duties at the rates listed above.
