China Glycine: Final Results of AD Admin Review

The Commerce Department issued the final results of the antidumping duty administrative review on glycine from China (A-570-836) (here). Commerce found all five companies under review -- Baoding Mantong Fine Chemistry Co., Ltd., Kumar Industries, Nutracare International, Ravi Industries and Rudraa International -- had no shipments of subject merchandise to the U.S. during the period of review. As such, these five companies' AD cash deposit rates will remain at the most recent rate set for each company.

Because Commerce found that these companies had no shipments of subject merchandise during the period under review, any suspended entries that entered under these five companies' antidumping duty case numbers during the period March 1, 2014, through Feb. 28, 2015, will be assessed AD duties at the 453.79% China-wide rate, it said.

(The review period is 03/01/14 -- 02/28/15. See Commerce's notice for more information, including the scope of the order, detailed cash deposit and assessment instructions, etc. See 1604140013 for summary of the preliminary results.)
