China Narrow Woven Ribbons: Final Results of AD Admin Review

The Commerce Department issued the final results of the antidumping duty administrative review on narrow woven ribbons with woven selvedge from China (A-570-952) (here). Commerce found the company under review, Yama Ribbons Co., Ltd., had no shipments of subject merchandise to the U.S. during the period of review. As such, Yama's AD cash deposit rate will remain at the rate set for the company in the most recent prior administrative review completed for the company.

Because Commerce found that Yama had no shipments of subject merchandise during the period under review, any suspended entries that entered under Yama's antidumping duty case numbers during the period Sept. 1, 2014, through Aug. 31, 2015, will be assessed AD duties at the 247.26% China-wide rate, it said.

For exporters of subject merchandise that were not under review (i.e., all except Yama), cash deposit rates remain at the level set in the most recent review of each respective exporter. For merchandise exported by companies that have never been assigned a cash deposit rate by Commerce, the China-wide rate of 247.26% applies.

(The review period is 09/01/14 -- 08/31/15. See Commerce's notice for more information, including the scope of the order, detailed cash deposit and assessment instructions, etc. See 1606190004 for summary of the preliminary results.)
