New Cash Deposit Rates Take Effect Aug. 15

For entries on or after Aug. 15, Commerce is setting new AD duty cash deposit rates. Companies that didn't get a rate in this review will continue to get the cash deposit rate set in the most recent previous administrative review, and companies that have never been assigned an AD rate will get the China-wide rate. The new rates are as follows:

ExporterAD Rate (Prelim)
Guangdong Dongyuan Kitchenware Industrial Co., Ltd.1.65%
Ningbo Afa Kitchen and Bath Co., Ltd.1.65%
Feidong Import and Export Co., Ltd.1.65%

China-wide rate. Commerce found the following companies did not demonstrate independence from government control, and assigned them the 76.45% China-wide entity rate: B&R Industries Limited; Zhongshan Newecan Enterprise Development Corporation; Zhongshan Superte Kitchenware Co., Ltd./Superte (invoiced as Foshan Zhaoshun Trade Co., Ltd.); Shunde Foodstuffs J&C Industries Enterprise Limited; Foshan Shunde MingHao Kitchen Utensils Co., Ltd.; Franke Asia Sourcing Ltd.; Grand Hill Work Company; Hangzhou Heng’s Industries Co., Ltd.; Jiangmen Hongmao Trading Co., Ltd.; Jiangxi Zoje Kitchen & Bath Industry Co., Ltd.; Ningbo Oulin Kitchen Utensils Co., Ltd.; and Shunde Foodstuffs Import & Export Company Limited of Guangdong.

No shipments. Commerce found Kehuaxing Industrial Ltd. had no exports to the U.S. during the period of review, so its AD duty cash deposit rate will remain at the most recent rate set for the company.

Assessment Rates For Entries April 2014 - March 2015

Commerce is using the rates it calculated in these final results to calculate assessments of AD duties on importers of subject merchandise from companies under review for entries from April 1, 2014, through March 31, 2015. The agency will calculate importer-specific assessment rates for entries of subject merchandise from Dongyuan. Entries from Afa, Feidong and the China-wide companies will be assessed AD duties at the rate listed above. Any shipments entered under case numbers for Kehuaxing will be liquidated at the 76.45% China-wide rate.

(The review period is 04/01/14 -- 03/31/15. See Commerce's notice for more information, including the scope of the order, detailed cash deposit and assessment instructions, etc. See 1605110017 for a summary of the preliminary results of this administrative review.)
